Rajamudi

‘Rajamudi,’ a variety of red rice that was earlier grown exclusively for the Wadiyars of Mysore as it was a favourite, everyday meal for the erstwhile Kings. Superior to other unpolished rice varieties, Rajamudi is medium grained rice with a ting of red colour, sweet tasting, increases in quantity on cooking. It is a rich source of dietery fiber, antioxidants and iron.

Jaggery

A traditional non-centrifugal cane sugar. A concentrated product of cane juice and can vary from golden brown to dark brown in color. It contains up to 50% sucrose, up to 20% invert sugars, and up to 20% moisture, with the remainder made up of other insoluble matter, such as wood ash, proteins, and bagasse fibers.
